Emirates Announces Resumption of Daily Service to Phnom Penh via Singapore

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Emirates, the world's largest international airline, will resume daily flights to Phnom Penh starting May 1st, 2024. The route will operate via Singapore, strengthening the airline's Southeast Asian network and connecting key trade and leisure destinations in the region.

Announcing the resumption, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, stated, "This move reaffirms our commitment to building a robust Southeast Asian network. We aim to provide travelers with greater access to diverse cultural experiences and assist businesses of all sizes in forging stronger trade connections. We express our gratitude to Cambodian and Singaporean authorities for their support in establishing this new route. We look forward to serving passengers in Cambodia with our industry-leading products and seamless global network access."

The service will utilize a three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Flight EK348 will depart Dubai at 2:30 AM, arriving in Singapore at 2:05 PM. The flight then departs Singapore at 3:35 PM, arriving in Phnom Penh at 4:35 PM. The return flight, EK349, leaves Phnom Penh at 8:50 PM and arrives in Singapore at 11:50 PM. It then departs Singapore at 1:40 AM the next day, arriving in Dubai at 4:50 AM. All times are local.

Emirates Sky Cargo will also offer cargo belly hold capacity on the Boeing 777-300ER, exceeding 300 tonnes per week for both inbound and outbound Phnom Penh cargo. Key exports from Phnom Penh include textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other high-value commodities.

The new service features eight First Class private suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class. Passengers can expect an exceptional onboard experience, including a gourmet culinary journey with regionally inspired multi-course menus created by award-winning chefs, complemented by a selection of premium beverages. Passengers can also relax and unwind with up to 6,500 hours of curated entertainment content, featuring movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, games, audiobooks, and more, accessible through ice, Emirates' award-winning inflight entertainment system.
